A bit more about who I am, what I like working on, and what I do outside of code.
I’m a third-year Computer Science student at Wilfrid Laurier University, interested in systems, computer networks, cloud computing/architecture and RISC-V / low-level architecture.
I like understanding how things really work under the hood — how bytes move across a network, how instructions are executed, how cloud systems distribute and manage workloads, and how small implementation details can affect performance and behaviour across both local and distributed environments.
I tend to enjoy projects that involve:
Outside of coursework and projects, I’m passionate about cricket and cars. Cricket has been a big part of my life for years — I enjoy the strategy, the focus it requires, and the team mindset it builds. It’s one of the few things that helps me reset while still keeping my competitive side active.
I’m also really into cars and automotive engineering. I like working on my car, learning how different systems operate, and fixing things instead of replacing them. I find it similar to systems programming: understanding mechanical components, diagnosing problems, and figuring out how different subsystems interact. Getting hands-on with cars gives me the same satisfaction as debugging low-level code — just in a different medium.
